Progress Update
Hello everyone!
I've received a lot of feedback and support from players of the alpha demo, and I've already addressed some of the quality of life issues which will be ready for the next build.
For example:
- Picked up keys are visible on the HUD now.
- Coyote time to jumps was added.
- Gamepad inputs were added (though not customizable yet)
- Death to retry is quicker, especially across water.
- Enemies shouldn't spaz out when the floor gives way beneath them.

In the last couple of weeks, I've been hard at work making game sprites for Olivia, overworld tiles, and portraits for both characters. The video attached shows the process of drawing Yttrith.
Regarding the difficulty, I had now realized that the first level in the demo featured a lot of game mechanics and tricky enemies. The next version will have a redesigned first level for players to get a better feel of the controls before plunging them into the deep end.
Once again, thanks to all the players who give the game a go, and keep an eye out for another demo in the not-too-distant future.
